Manchester United plunged to a new low with a humiliating 2-0 defeat at home to Burnley. It was a night when much of Old Trafford came together to protest the club's chronic mismanagement, thousands chanting "we want United back" and "stand up if you hate Glazers".That display of unity among the supporters was scant consolation for another dismal display, United rocked by a pair of fine finishes from Chris Wood and Jay Rodriguez. It really is difficult to see where Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men go from here as they recorded a third defeat in four league games. The Norwegian has done his best to clear out some of the deadwood from the squad but there's undeniably some way to go in that regard.

Despite recording 73% possession, the hosts did very little with it and while both Wood and Rodriguez's goals were impressive, United were chaotic in defence once again.

There are only eight days left of the January transfer window to salvage the current campaign, but it says a lot that fans are already looking forward to another summer clearout.

On Twitter, Goal asked the question of who deserves to stay, listing their entire squad.

It was always going to divide opinion.

Some fans appear to have lost faith in David de Gea, while others are still backing him as one of the best 'keepers in the world despite a handful of high-profile errors this season.

A common theme was supporters wanting to persevere with academy graduates like Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood (though not Jesse Lingard).

And on the subject of who should stay, one replied: "All of them. Ole should go."

The manager's future is a question for another day, but here are some of the responses below:

Ultimately, it looks like United fans have little belief in countless members of their squad, who they simply don't feel are up to the job of competing for the top four.

That should be the expectation at the very least.
