Manchester United aren’t having a very good week.
The Red Devils were comfortably beaten by Burnley at Old Trafford on Tuesday night.
That result leaves them six points behind the top four with just five league wins in 11 games since the start of December.
To make matters worse, it seems United have been struck by an injury crisis, especially upfront.
With the news that Marcus Rashford will be sidelined for at least another six weeks, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has just two fit forwards to choose from in Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood.

So, surely United need to sign someone in the last eight days of the January transfer window.
Well, according to reports from Italy they have been linked to a striker – but it’s not someone that supporters will be very excited about.
With Rashford’s layoff short-term in the grand scheme of things, the club are looking for a temporary fix and want a low-cost option with Premier League experience.
Now 35-years-old, Tevez fits that bill.
The Argentine spent two seasons at Old Trafford between 2008 and 2010, making 99 appearances and scoring 34 goals.
After that, he made a very controversial switch to Manchester City, where he made played 148 times, netting 73 goals. At the Etihad, he also won three trophies.
In 2013 Tevez left England and has continued to score goals wherever he plays, turning out for Juventus, Shanghai Shenhua and most recently, Boca Juniors.
A short spell at Man United until the end of the season would certainly be an interesting way to bring a close to his career.
It may not be Edinson Cavani or Jadon Sancho as many fans were hoping, but if the club really do get Tevez in, it would be something.
However, there doesn’t seem anything concrete in Tuttosport’s reports, so supporters shouldn’t get their hopes up too much.
