We are now just three days away from the 2020 edition of the Royal Rumble, and WWE will return to a baseball stadium for the second year in a row.

Houston is the location of this years event, and the Rumble matches themselves look entirely different between the men's and the women's.

The men's Rumble is almost filled with superstars as 25 have declared their entries into the match, leaving just five spots remaining to any potential other SmackDown stars, NXT wrestlers or 'surprise returns'.

In a complete contrast, the women's match only has FIVE superstars declared, so you can expect quite a few NXT females and legends of the past to make their presence felt.

Focusing on the men's match though, there's such an array of star power that there's quite a few scenarios we'd like to see play out in the bout itself - so let's look at 10 of them!

BROCK LESNAR AND MATT RIDDLE SHOWDOWN

Riddle has been teasing for years that he's going to 'retire' Lesnar, and with Brock entering at number one, this is the perfect opportunity to have Riddle enter early and go toe-to-toe with the former UFC champion.

It will be sure to get fans on the edge of their seats and no doubt they'll all be behind the King of Bros if it happens.

And if Riddle went as far as eliminating him then that would set up a potential WrestleMania match.

OTIS GOES ON A RAMPAGE

One half of Heavy Machinery has been developing a love story with Mandy Rose on SmackDown in the last few weeks.

She could be ringside for his Rumble appearance and have another superstar hit on her, which would send Otis into destruction mode.

Eliminating a big name would see him be taken seriously, but he will more likely be just used as a filler participant in this match but he will definitely be hitting the crowd-pleasing Catterpillar.

DREW MCINTYRE TO BE AT LEAST IN THE FINAL TWO

The Scottish Psychopath has undergone a bit of a character change in recent weeks, and seems to be playing more of a crowd-pleasing type.

With that has come more confidence and he's declared that 2020 will be his year.

Fans are impressed and there's been calls for him to win the whole thing, and if he doesn't he should at LEAST be in the final two men of the match.

BIG E TO ACCIDENTALLY ELIMINATE KOFI KINGSTON

Kofi is normally the big spot guy of the match, and he can still do that this year, but a way to build unexpected tension in the New Day would be for Big E to inadvertently eliminate him.

Kingston will no doubt have the fans behind him as he chases another world title opportunity, and New Day should not be split up at all in the near future, but being accidentally taken out by Big E could at least cause some frostiness which could be interesting to see.

KEITH LEE TO ENTER THE RUMBLE AND PUT ON A STRONG SHOWING

The new NXT North American Champion had a breakout night at Survivor Series in November, and he can add to his resumè at the Rumble.

NXT will be limited to one or maybe two entrants, and fans will be longing to see Lee pit his wits against the likes of Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins again.

We'd have Lee in the final four of the match before being eliminated, but it would be another strong showing for the Limitless one.

ERICK ROWAN'S MYSTERY CAGE REVEAL

Nobody knows what's in Rowan's cage, and to be honest, do people actually care?

In recent weeks, Rowan has been bitten by whatever it is, and at this point people are starting to be non-plussed by the whole thing.

Let's just have it revealed during the Rumble match, distracting Rowan and in turn he gets eliminated. Job done!

ALEISTER BLACK TO HAVE A NEW FEUD SET UP DURING THE MATCH

Black has had a string of good matches against Buddy Murphy, but went back to squashing a jobber this week on Raw.

He could do with a strong feud heading into WrestleMania though, and we would like to see someone like Randy Orton or AJ Styles put him over and make him look like a star.

Black's not been pinned yet on the main roster so he's clearly a big deal in the eyes of someone, and eliminating a big name will only go somewhat further to building his character.

R-TRUTH TO WIN BACK THE 24/7 TITLE - THEN LOSE IT TO PAUL HEYMAN

Mojo Rawley is currently the 24/7 Champion, but WWE - let Truth win it back before the Rumble starts!

Truth can come to the ring with his title, and we would have him try to throw Paul Heyman in the ring following the segment that happened last week on Raw.

Lesnar would take down Truth though and send him flying over the top rope, leaving Heyman to pin Truth for the 24/7 Championship - with Brock protecting his advocate and his belt at every step of the way.

EDGE AS A SURPRISE ENTRANT LATE IN THE MATCH

The Rated-R Superstar is adamant that he's not returning or signed a new deal, but PW Insider's Mike Johnson is sticking by his story.

So much so that Johnson has said he will be 'shocked' if Edge isn't back on WWE programming by this time next week, so surely it's happening?

We can see Edge being a late entrant, either 29 or 30, and no doubt the very smart crowd will be expecting him to make an appearance - so if in fact he was telling the truth and he's not in the Rumble they're going to be very disappointed.

ROMAN REIGNS TO BE ELIMINATED BY ANYONE OTHER THAN KING CORBIN OR ZIGGLER

Reigns and Corbin are fighting in a Falls Count Anywhere match earlier on in the card - this match alone should be the reason why Reigns should NOT win the Rumble.

Even if he enters very late on there should be much fresher bodies waiting to pounce, but Corbin or Ziggler shouldn't eliminate him - we don't need to continue the rivalry past the Rumble.

Reigns may be the bookmakers' favourite for the match, but if you look at it logically, he shouldn't really be winning.
