Bristol City have announced the signing of Australian international Chloe Logarzo from Sydney FC.

Logarzo joins Bristol, who sit bottom of the Women's Super League table.

The midfielder becomes the club's fifth signing of the transfer window.

She is the third Aussie to move to the WSL in recent weeks, with Matildas' captain Sam Kerr joining Chelsea, and Hayley Raso moving to Everton.

The 25-year-old has linked up with a fellow Australian at the Stoke Gifford Stadium, manager Tanya Oxtoby.

Chloe, who played in all four of her nation's World Cup games last summer, has represented her country 41 times since her debut against China in November 2013, scoring seven goals.

Logarzo is a two-time W-League champion, having won the competition with Sydney in 2013 and 2019. She was also named the league's rookie of the year in 2014, and Sydney's player of the year in 2018.

The 25-year-old was also part of the Australia squad that won the Asia Olympic Qualifying Tournament in 2016, and the Tournament of Nations the following year.

Chloe has joined the Vixens on an 18-month contract, with Bristol being her ninth permanent club.

England will be the fifth country she will play in, with Logarzo having stints in Australia, the United States, Sweden, and Norway.

She has made a combined 139 career appearances so far, scoring 33 goals.

Her new team face Durham in the FA Cup fourth round this Sunday, before returning to league action away against Tottenham Hotspur on February 2.

However, the midfielder may not be joining her new squad until mid-February, due to Australia's AFC Olympic Qualifiers against China, Taiwan, and Thailand between Feb 3-9.
