Manchester United forward Jesse Lingard has been labelled “absolutely f***ing s***” by UFC star and Liverpool fan Darren Till in a scathing tweet.Till, who was born in Merseyside, accompanied a video of Lingard celebrating his goal for United in their 6-0 win over Tranmere on Sunday with the message.“That Jesse lingard has robbed a living, he’s absolutely f***ing s***,” Till wrote.“Good for us like! He would rather be an instagrammer than a footballer that c***.”Lingard produced his trademark ‘J Lingz’ celebration after scoring United’s third goal in their comfortable FA Cup win.

It was just his second goal of the season for the Red Devils but many football fans were puzzled by the need for Lingard to celebrate against League One opposition.

The 27-year-old failed to register a single goal or assist in the league in 2019, a remarkable statistic that led to plenty of criticism.

And Liverpool fan Till has now gone in hard on the United attacker.

Lingard opened up on the family issues that have affected his form in an interview with the Daily Mail in December.

Lingard was left to care for his younger siblings after his mother became unwell.

"My mum has had some things for years but never really got help,” the England international said.

“Now she is. So I have been taking care of my brother and sister. They are with me.

“It has been tough to see my loved ones struggling and then I have to come to work and try to do my job.”

Lingard also received plenty of stick when he launched his 'JLingz' clothing brand.

Former Man United midfielder Roy Keane was one of the more vocal critics, saying in 2018: "If that was a good, strong dressing room that wouldn't be tolerated."

Keane added: "I think football should be your No. 1 priority. People say you should have other stuff outside of football but I don't think you should."

Lingard's performances on the pitch haven't helped him in his case to shake the notion that his main focus isn't football, as Till's tweet shows.
