Shayna Baszler had been the favourite with bookmakers all of January to win the 2020 Women's Royal Rumble, but in the end, WWE went in a different direction with their winner. The former NXT Women's Champion did enter the match at number 30, but she wasn't able to secure a title shot.As always, this match made a potential star and this year it was the turn of NXT's Bianca Belair to shine.Entering at number two, Belair secured EIGHT eliminations, before being taken out by Charlotte Flair, to the dismay of most in attendance. The likes of Toni Storm, Alexa Bliss and Naomi all had solid runs in the match too, and we even got a shock return in the form of Santino Marella's female alter-ego Santina, who eliminated herself after being confronted by Natalya and Beth Phoenix.

Speaking of Phoenix, she suffered a horrific cut to the back of her head after hitting the ring post, but she made a great run into the final three of the match after throwing her friend Natalya over the top rope.

Baszler got rid of Phoenix to make sure it was just her and Flair left, but the shift in odds just an hour before the main card started proved to be a correct one.

She was hanging onto the ropes with all of her strength, and when Baszler came back for more, Flair was able to get Shayna's head between her feet and send her flying over the ropes and to the floor.

Charlotte's victory means that she secured herself a WrestleMania match-up for either the Raw or SmackDown Women's Championship.

If she stays on Raw, that means a match against either Becky Lynch or Asuka is likely, depending on who comes out victorious later on in the card.

Some of the crowd inside Minute Maid Park may not have liked the outcome, but get used to it - Charlotte Flair is the 2020 Women's Royal Rumble winner!
