The 2020 Royal Rumble match was full of twists, returns and spills, and there could only be one winner - and thankfully it wasn't Brock Lesnar! The first half of the Rumble was something to behold, as Lesnar went on an absolute rampage. In a record-breaking run, Lesnar eliminated thirteen straight superstars, including Braun Strowman, Keith Lee, John Morrison and a returning MVP.But once Drew McIntyre entered proceedings at number 16, Lesnar's time was up.Aided by a Ricochet low-blow, McIntyre Claymore Kicked Lesnar over the top rope and into oblivion, and gave us a teaser of what may come at WrestleMania.

The biggest shock of the match though came from the number 21 entrant, as Edge made his shock return to WWE action after nine years away - you can read more about that here!

Along with Keith Lee earlier in the match, we got a second NXT entry in the form of Matt Riddle - no in-ring face-off with Brock Lesnar after their real-life backstage confrontation earlier in the night - and King Corbin dispatched him not long after entering.

In the latter stages of the match, number 30 entrant Seth Rollins brought his whole faction to the ring, but Buddy Murphy and AOP ended up being wrestled to the back by Samoa Joe, Kevin Owens and Aleister Black once they were all eliminated.

That left the Monday Night Messiah as the prey to the remaining foursome - Reigns, Edge, Orton and McIntyre - who disposed of him.

After Orton teased hitting an RKO on Edge, the Rated-R Superstar himself threw his Rated RKO team-mate over the top rope, but was then in turn eliminated by Reigns.

But the Big Dog was no match for the Scottish Psychopath, and after one final Claymore Kick, McIntyre was crowned as the 2020 Royal Rumble winner.
