Drew McIntyre has not fulfilled his prophecy just yet, but he's pretty close to doing so.On Sunday night in Houston, the huge Scot achieved what he set out to do and won the 2020 Royal Rumble match, last eliminating Roman Reigns to a huge reaction.Less than six years ago, McIntyre was released by WWE after doing nothing of note for years, as he was stuck in the jobber faction 3MB.But he went away, transformed himself into a different animal, and after a year in NXT, McIntyre was back on the main roster, and it's only taken him less than two years to be a fully-fledged main eventer.During the Rumble match, he encountered another beast in the form of Brock Lesnar, who had eliminated almost everyone who had come before him after entering at number one.

But after being low-blowed from behind by Ricochet, Lesnar was left rocked - and then he was sent flying over the top rope by a Claymore Kick from McIntyre.

After that moment, it was inevitable what was going to happen going forward, and McIntyre didn't leave the fans waiting long to make his decision.

The Scottish Psychopath opened up Raw last night in San Antonio and laid down the challenge to Lesnar - they will main event WrestleMania 36 in Tampa on April 5.

It was a passionate promo from McIntyre who now really has the crowd on his side, who hung onto his every word as he told the WWE Universe that he will take Lesnar's title at WrestleMania.

The two men would come face-to-face just minutes later though, as McIntyre celebrated defeating Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows in a two-on-one handicap match.

Lesnar made his presence felt by storming down the ramp and delivering a crushing F5 to his 'Mania opponent, which will likely to be the last action between the two for weeks as Lesnar's not likely to be on Raw again until around March.

The majority of WWE fans will be hoping that Drew dethrones Brock on the Grandest Stage of Them All in April, the boos that rang out for Lesnar last night show whose side the crowd are on right now.

It's going to be a long two months of waiting for his shot, but with the Tartan Army and millions more on his side on April 5, it'll hopefully be worth it for McIntyre.
