WWE fans have been calling for him to get a push for some time, but things may have just started to unravel for Andrade.

After the WWE Draft in October placed him on Monday Night Raw, 'El Idolo' went on a winning streak, before that was ended by fellow luchador Humberto Carrillo.

Andrade ended up putting Carrillo on the shelf [in storyline] in December, before winning his first main roster title by taking the U.S. Championship from Mysterio inside Madison Square Garden at a WWE live event.

The feud with Carrillo has re-commenced though following his return last week, where he saved Mysterio from being sent head-first into the concrete floor by Andrade following their gruelling Ladder match.

After Andrade defeated Carrillo on the Royal Rumble Kick Off Show on Sunday to retain his title, WWE fans were understandably confused when a rematch was set for Raw - their FIFTH match in less than two months.

The tables were turned however - after Zelina Vega's interference meant that Andrade lost via disqualification [but retained his title], Humberto got his own back by drilling his rival's head into the concrete outside the ring with Andrade's patented Hammerlock DDT.

This wasn't done for any old reason though, as Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet confirmed last night that Andrade has been suspended by WWE for 30 days due to violating their Wellness Policy.

Satin added that Andrade was informed yesterday morning of the suspension, hence why he retained at the Rumble and then got written out last night on Raw.

It doesn't seem like he will be stripped of his title, and he may be back in time to make a defence at Super Showdown in Saudi Arabia on February 27.

There had been no Wellness Policy violations since 2016 until December 2019, where both Robert Roode and Primo were suspended for 30 days.

Let's hope that there's no more bans to come for superstars as we head into WrestleMania season!
