Liverpool haven’t wrapped up the 2019-20 Premier League title yet, but it won’t be much longer before they do.

The Reds are 16 points clear of second-placed Manchester City, with a game in hand, as we approach February.

Jurgen Klopp’s brilliant side have dropped two league points all season, winning an unprecedented 22 of their 23 fixtures and drawing the other.

If they continue playing like this between now and May, this Liverpool team may very well be remembered as the greatest ever seen in the Premier League era.

They’re on course to smash various records and deserve all the credit that has come their way so far this season.

Remarkably - per @TheAnfieldWrap on Twitter - there are TEN players who haven’t lost a single Premier League game at Anfield since joining Liverpool.

From least-to-most appearances, here are the players and their stats:

Adrian

Appearances: 6, Starts: 4, Wins: 6, Draws: 0, Losses: 0

Signed on a free transfer after leaving West Ham last summer, the Spanish goalkeeper made a handful of appearances at the start of the season after Alisson suffered an injury.

Xherdan Shaqiri

Appearances: 15, Starts: 8, Wins: 14, Draws: 1, Losses: 0

Xherdan Shaqiri completed a surprise £13.5m move to Liverpool from relegated Stoke City in the summer of 2018 and impressed during his debut campaign at Anfield.

Naby Keita

Appearances: 15, Starts: 8, Wins: 13, Draws: 2, Losses: 0

His debut season at Liverpool was a little underwhelming, but we’ve seen more than enough glimpses from Naby Keita over the past season-and-a-half to know he’s a top midfielder.

Fabinho

Appearances: 21, Starts: 17, Wins: 20, Draws: 1, Losses: 0

One of the world’s best holding midfielders, Fabinho has been superb for Liverpool since his arrival from AS Monaco in 2018.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Appearances: 23, Starts: 10, Wins: 17, Draws: 6, Losses: 0

Missed most of last season after suffering a serious knee injury but has scored five goals in 26 games this season.

Alisson Becker

Appearances: 27, Starts: 27, Wins: 25, Draws: 2, Losses: 0

What a difference the Brazilian has made since replacing Loris Karius in 2018. One of the world’s best goalkeepers.

Virgil van Dijk

Appearances: 38, Starts: 38, Wins: 34, Draws: 4, Losses: 0

The best defender in the world right now - by a distance - Virgil van Dijk has been worth his weight in gold to the Reds.

Andy Robertson

Appearances: 43, Starts: 42, Wins: 37, Draws: 6, Losses: 0

Surely the world’s best left-back, it’s amazing to think Liverpool managed to sign the Scotland international for £8 million.

Mohamed Salah

Appearances: 49, Starts: 48, Wins: 40, Draws: 9, Losses: 0

Eighty-six goals in 135 games. Mo Salah is already an Anfield legend.

Sadio Mane

Appearances: 59, Starts: 56, Wins: 50, Draws: 9, Losses: 0

Fifty-nine appearances and not a single defeat. Incredible. Sadio Mane is currently the favourite to win this season’s PFA Premier League Player of the Year award.

Next up for Liverpool at Anfield? Southampton on Saturday.

Their unbeaten run on their home turf looks set to continue for a while yet…
