NXT has been on a roll since it moved to a live format back in October, and it's set to gain even more star power later today.

WWE decided to make changes to the taped show after All Elite Wrestling established itself on the TNT platform on Wednesday nights - so NXT started going head-to-head with it for two hours.

AEW have won more of the ratings battles, but NXT have had some dominant weeks, and their product just keeps on getting better and better.

Such is the excitement of the brand, the first Universal Champion Finn Balor decided to return in October, and he subsequently turned heel weeks later.

And it looks like NXT are set to add even more star power to their roster.

According to Mike Johnson of PW Insider, Charlotte Flair is scheduled to appear on NXT tonight at Full Sail University.

And it is there that the 2020 Royal Rumble winner will supposedly challenge Rhea Ripley - the NXT Women's Champion - to a title match at WrestleMania 36 in Tampa.

Flair told the WWE Universe on Monday Night Raw that she would be challenging for 'a championship', but stopped short of declaring which one that would be.

Theories started to emerge as the current main roster options of Becky Lynch and Bayley have been done for Charlotte time and time again.

One theory suggested that Lynch would drop her title to Ronda Rousey between now and WrestleMania, clearing the way for Flair to face Rousey and Lynch take on Shayna Baszler.

But it now appears that Flair will instead elevate NXT's brand even further, and give them a first match on WrestleMania's main card.

Ripley pinned Flair in a Triple Threat match on SmackDown back in November, and part of her storyline reasoning for challenging the Aussie could lie there.

But tune in to NXT tonight to find out for yourself - it's going to be must-see stuff!
