Harvey Elliott scored a ridiculous bicycle-kick from a corner for Liverpool's Under-23s side against Wolves. While the senior team was looking to move a step closer to winning the Premier League title, Elliott was creating magic for the youth team in the PL International Cup.The highly-rated 16-year-old netter an absolute stunner to draw Liverpool level in the contest on Wednesday evening. He contorted his body to meet a corner-kick and sent the ball into the back of the net.

Special.

Elliott joined Liverpool last summer and has appeared in the domestic cups this season.

He's looked lively in first-team action, impressing in the Reds' FA Cup win over Everton at the start of January, and has been tipped to play for England one day by former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan.

"I watched Harvey Elliot play for Liverpool the other day and thought: ‘Wow, that is some player’," Jordan said on talkSPORT after Elliott's performance in the 1-0 win over Everton.

"When you see a 16-year-old come into an environment like a Merseyside derby, and he’s coming into a Liverpool side that is playing with such style, panache and fervour but coming into a makeshift XI, and making an impression upon the game in the way that he did, I looked at him and said to myself: ‘He will play for England’.

At such a young age, Elliott's development is the most important part right now.

But at Liverpool he's in a perfect situation to learn his trade. The Reds are incredibly strong right now and won't be needing the teenager's services until he's ready to make the jump to the senior squad permanently.

And based on what we've seen so far, they have a precocious talent on their hands.
