WrestleMania 36 is now only two months away, and several huge matches look to be being set up.

Already confirmed for the event is the Royal Rumble winner Drew McIntyre taking on Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship, unless he somehow loses the title before then.

Other matches rumoured to be taking place are two mammoth female bouts - Becky Lynch against Shayna Baszler and Charlotte Flair challenge NXT Women's Champion Rhea Ripley.

It doesn't look like there will be any Ronda Rousey involvement at WrestleMania this year, and that would make it a full year since she's been seen by the WWE Universe.

Another superstar who hasn't been seen in a very long time is The Undertaker.

The last time we saw The Deadman was at Extreme Rules in July 2019, where he teamed up with Roman Reigns to take out McIntyre and Shane McMahon.

It was perhaps surprising that Taker was not scheduled to appear at Crown Jewel last October considering he has been a regular fixture there.

But WWE instead chose to put their money towards the likes of Tyson Fury and Cain Velasquez, meaning that Taker was seemingly not needed.

In regards to his next match, Dave Meltzer has stated in this week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Undertaker is not scheduled to have a match at WrestleMania 36, per WhatCulture.

However, Meltzer added that Taker is lobbying to have some part at the event in Tampa, whether that be a match or just a segment is unclear though.

Considering he wasn't involved at last year's Mania, would WWE really leave him off the card for a second year running?

A lot of WWE fans would probably prefer the company to leave Taker out in order to give the younger stars a chance, but there's still a big clamour for his presence, even in 2020.

We will just have to see if anything comes of his apparent request to work the show, as the man won't have many WrestleMania's left to work...
