Donald Cerrone has hit back at UFC fans that have accused him of throwing his fight vs Conor McGregor at UFC 246.

In the main event of UFC 246 back on January 18, Cerrone suffered a first-round TKO loss to Conor McGregor after just 40 seconds.

A combination of a head kick and punches caused The Cowboy to lose his third fight in a row via TKO following previous losses vs Justin Gaethje and Tony Ferguson.

However, due to a combination of factors, many fans have accused him of throwing his fight vs Notorious.

A few UFC fans believe Cerrone was asked to throw the fight to give McGregor's stature a big boost upon his return to the promotion entering what could be a big year for the fighter.

Since he was receiving one of the biggest fight payments of his career, many believe Cerrone was okay with doing this, but the man himself has hit back strongly against these ridiculous claims.

In fact, he's encouraging anyone who thinks he threw the McGregor fight to unfollow him on social media.

Commenting on one of his photos, one fan said to The Cowboy: "After that big payday to take a dive you have to live free."

Cerrone responded: "Take a dive you stupid motherf****r?? Who you think your talking to? Get a f*****g life"

Another fan said: "Live free and get beat for money."

The Cowboy replied: "You think that’s funny? You feel like I’m the kind of Man that would sell my soul? Do me a favor and unfollow me if that’s how you feel."

Cerrone is one of the greatest and most successful MMA fighters of all-time, so it would be shocking to discover he took a dive vs McGregor if he actually did.

Although The Cowboy lost against Notorious, he is by no means done, as he's expected to return to the Octagon later this year.
