NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal apparently bought a man a new laptop after he passed on condolences over the deaths of his sister and Kobe Bryant.Patrick Martin bumped into O'Neal while he was shopping in Best Buy and offered his sympathies following the loss of his sister, Ayesha Harrison-Jex, who died from cancer last October, and his former Los Angeles Lakers teammate Bryant.In a post on Facebook, Martin claims Shaq was so touched by his comments that he paid for his new laptop."So me and Mo just went to Best Buy to buy a laptop and we meet Shaq."We gave our condolences for his sister and Kobe. We walked off, then Shaq comes to us and says, 'I like y'all, so get the nicest one in here and I'll pay for it'."

Martin's post has been shared more than 20,000 times and is flooded with comments from people praising O'Neal for his kind gesture.

O'Neal and Bryant played for the LA Lakers together for eight seasons between 1996 and 2004, winning three consecutive NBA championships.

Shaq shared a heartfelt tribute to Kobe on Twitter after the tragic helicopter crash that killed nine people, including his 13-year-old daughter Gianna.

"There’s no words to express the pain Im going through with this tragedy of losing my niece Gigi & my brother @kobebryant," the 47-year-old wrote.

"I love u and u will be missed. My condolences goes out to the Bryant family and the families of the other passengers on board. IM SICK RIGHT NOW.

"Kobe was so much more than an athlete, he was a family man. That was what we had most in common.

"I would hug his children like they were my own and he would embrace my kids like they were his. His baby girl Gigi was born on the same day as my youngest daughter Me’Arah."
