The January transfer window always throws up a few surprises, such as Manchester United captain Ashley Young moving to the Serie A with Inter Milan or former Watford striker Odion Ighalo coming back to the Premier League on loan for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side.However, there's one man who moved on deadline day whose transfer is far from surprising. Kevin-Prince Boateng completed a loan move from Fiorentina to Besiktas until the end of the season, his fourth transfer in the past two campaigns and the 12th of his career. The 32-year-old has certainly been one of football's most iconic journeymen during his 15-year career that has seen him play for Tottenham, Borussia Dortmund, Portsmouth, AC Milan and Schalke, among others. Playing with 'Prince' on his back, the eccentric Ghana international has displayed the skill he possesses at points during his career, most of all a goal he scored in the 2011/12 Champions League group stages against Barcelona, a club he would later join. - Premier League: Predicting the final table after the January transfer window- Man United planning summer moves for Sancho and Maddison- Man Utd boss Solskjaer: Fernandes more like Scholes than RonaldoIn the shirt of Milan at the time, Boateng displayed an exquisite first touch before chopping away from Eric Abidal and firing a thunderous drive past Victor Valdes at his near post.The versatile star has moved about constantly during his career but the past two seasons has been excessive even for him.Boateng joined Sassuolo in the summer of 2018 on a three-year deal but joined Barcelona in the January of that season, providing cover for Luis Suarez. 

He made four appearances for the Catalan giants but they didn't exercise their option to buy him so he returned to Sassuolo, eventually signing for Fiorentina in that summer. 

He has turned out 15 times for the Serie A outfit this campaign but now leaves for Besiktas who currently sit 7th in the Turkish league.

He joins a squad that will be familiar for Premier League fans, with former Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius, on-loan Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny and former Sunderland wide man Jeremain Lens already part of the squad.
