Khabib Nurmagomedov really does have the world at his feet right now.

His monumental win over Conor McGregor back in 2018 opened up all sorts of doors and now just about everyone wants a piece of the Russian.

It's not just UFC fighters that are clamouring to come to blows with Nurmagomedov either, with a glut of rumours suggesting that none other than Floyd Mayweather is eyeing a bout with 'The Eagle'.

Mayweather, who recently came out of retirement, is looking for a headline fight to end all headline fights and Nurmagomedov could be the perfect opponent.

It would most certainly be one of the biggest paydays in combat sports as well with Nurmagomedov's manager revealing that they have received a stonking offer from Saudi Arabia.

"They want to pay $100m for Khabib to fight Floyd in Saudi Arabia. It doesn’t really matter, I think more likely you can see Khabib vs Floyd.

"All I’m thinking about now and that’s a psychopath by the name of Tony Ferguson.

"My advice to Conor is 'hey bitch, go and fight [Justin] Gaethje.'"

ONE HUNDRED MILLION - imagine being able to throw that kind of money around.

Sadly, it looks as though it could be quite a while before an agreement is settled with Khabib due to fight with the above mentioned Ferguson in April.

Another potential stumbling block could be the kind of battle the two would have in terms of would it be boxing rules or UFC.

Nurmagomedov refused to be drawn on the speculation in a recent press conference, though.

"I have already signed a contract for my next fight in April," Nurmagomedov told TASS.

"At the moment, I’m not thinking either of boxing or of Mayweather. I have a very serious opponent. I need to overcome this challenge and then we will see."

There you have it - it might not be on the cards right now but neither party has categorically ruled it out.

If they can come to an accord and eventually come to blows inside some sort of ring, it would absolutely be one of the biggest days in the history of combat sports.

Make it happen, lads.
