Erling Haaland moves to seven goals in three Borussia Dortmund games on full debut

Erling Braut Haaland is officially the real deal after extending his dream start at Borussia Dortmund.

The 19-year-old had already captivated European football with his performances at Red Bull Salzburg this season, scoring 28 goals in 22 games, but moving to Germany was a clear step-up.

However, Haaland couldn't have raised a bigger middle finger to haters if he tried, sensationally scoring a debut hat-trick off the bench during the 5-3 demolition of Augsburg.

And he proved it wasn't a one-off just six days later, scoring twice in a 5-1 win over FC Koln despite once again starting the match as a substitute.

Understandably, though, scoring five goals in 56 minutes finally gave manager Lucien Favre the justification he was looking for to give the young Norwegian his first start.

Haaland continues glorious form

That eventually transpired on Saturday afternoon as Union Berlin made the trip to Dortmund and you'll never guess that Haaland achieved on his full debut...

After Jadon Sancho fired the home side into a 12-minute lead, the inevitable happened as Haaland continued his insane run of form with a sixth goal for Dortmund in less than 80 minutes.

Julian Brandt fired the ball across the six-yard box after his original corner was clearer and Haaland show his predatory instincts by arriving at the back-post to tap home into the empty net.

Haaland bags yet another brace

After the break, Marco Reus extended Dortmund's lead from the penalty spot and Axel Witsel accelerated them towards another thrashing by making it four.

And then, Haaland got involved in the action yet again by scoring his SEVENTH goal for the club in just three matches.

Some sweet combination play from Sancho and Reus eventually saw the ball land at the striker's feet and he lashed the ball through Rafal Gikiewicz with a stinging left-footed effort.

And most amusingly of all, his goal-scoring exploits come in the same week where Manchester United painfully signed former Watford striker Odion Ighalo on loan instead of him...
