Neymar was up to his usual tricks on Saturday night - quite literally.Paris Saint-Germain ran out 5-0 winners against Montpellier but it was a pretty feisty encounter.PSG may have taken an eighth-minute lead but that didn’t stop manager Thomas Tuchel from getting cautioned in the 15th-minute for arguing with the referee. Two minutes later saw the first of two Montpellier red cards as goalkeeper Dimitry Bertaud was dismissed for handling outside of his penalty area. But Neymar was at the centre of the game’s most controversial moment.

With his side 1-0 up and playing against ten men, it was party time.

He attempted a rainbow flick over the head of two defenders, dummied to boot it long when at left-back only to produce a faint and then when fouled by a defender proceeded to humiliate him with numerous stopovers.

It was all fun and games but there was one man not enjoying it - the referee.

In fact, after Neymar’s rainbow flick, referee Jerome Brisard warned the Brazilian and then booked him for unsporting behaviour.

It led to an angry exchange at half-time in the tunnel.

"I play football and he shows me a yellow card! Tell him he can't give me a yellow,” Neymar said to teammate Marco Verratti.

“Be patient,” replied Brisard.

“Be patient… My a**,” Neymar snapped back.

After the match, Neymar took to Instagram to simply write: “I just play football 🤷🏽‍♂️⚽️”

PSG went on to win 5-0 with Montpellier getting another man sent off late on.

There was also a flashpoint with Kylian Mbappe angry at his substitution in the second half with his side already 5-0 up.

In the end, it was an easy win as PSG went 13 points clear but it definitely wasn’t without controversy.
