Rhian Brewster has enjoyed a successful start to his loan spell at Swansea City. The highly-rated forward joined the Welsh club from Liverpool in the January transfer window, making his debut in a goalless draw against Cardiff City.A week later, he would get his first professional goal as he scored in a 2-1 victory over Wigan Athletic. He was in the starting lineup against for Swansea's trip to Preston North End on Saturday afternoon. And the 19-year-old would find himself on the scoresheet again, tapping home in the 33rd minute to level the scores.

Brewster's goal helped Swansea to a 1-1 draw, leaving them eighth in the table and just four points off the playoffs.

But he hasn't just hit the headlines again for his goalscoring exploits.

The Liverpool loanee has also been talked about after channeling his inner Paul Gascoigne during Saturday's game.

Gascogine, in a game for Rangers in 1995, picked up a yellow card which was dropped by referee Dougie Smith.

In typical Gazza fashion, he decided to have a bit of fun by booking Smith. That didn't go down too well with Smith, though, who responded by booking Gazza.

Brewster decided to do the same yesterday.

In the closing stages of the game, Geoff Eltringham dropped his card, and Brewster decided to book the referee.

Fortunately for the youngster, it turned out a lot better for him than it did for Gazza.

Eltringham and Brewster shared a joke and both were all smiles regarding the incident.

Good stuff by both Eltringham and Brewster.

Despite only making three appearances for Liverpool, Brewster is a popular figure at Anfield.

He revealed after his first Swansea goal that his Liverpool teammates had been sending him messages of congratulations.

"There is a loan manager at Liverpool who I talk to, but I keep in contact with everyone," he revealed last month, per WalesOnline.

"(James) Milner text me last week and Hendo (Jordan Henderson) was texting me this week.

"I keep in contact with the boys and I have to thank them because they’re thinking of me.
