Neymar is having a ridiculously good season.

The Brazilian forward has missed some of the campaign through injury.

But he has been virtually unstoppable when he's been on the pitch.

Before this weekend's round of fixtures, Neymar had been statistically the best player in Europe's top five leagues this season.

He had recorded an average rating of 8.59 by WhoScored.com, better than both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

And he turned in another brilliant performance against Montpellier on Saturday.

The Brazilian is perhaps the most skilful player in world football and that was on full display at the Parc des Princes.

He made an absolute mockery of Teji Savanier during the game.

Neymar was clearly not happy after he was kicked in the back by Savanier.

The Brazilian was rightfully given a free-kick by the referee. But that was not enough.

PSG took the free-kick quickly as Neymar attempted to extract revenge on Savanier. And he did just that.

Just a matter of seconds after getting kicked, Neymar produced a triple step-over and left his opponent bamboozled with his skill.

What a player Neymar is. No one does revenge quite like him.

The 28-year-old was also inexplicably booked for trying a rainbow flick, leading to an angry exchange with the referee at half-time.

"I play football and he shows me a yellow card! Tell him he can't give me a yellow,” Neymar said to teammate Marco Verratti.

“Be patient,” replied Brisard.

“Be patient… My a**,” Neymar snapped back."

Despite his brilliance with the ball at his feet, Neymar was unable to get on the scoresheet as PSG smashed Montpellier 5-0.

Pablo Sarabia, Angel Di Maria, Daniel Congré (OG), Kylian Mbappe and Layvin Kurzawa all found the net for the hosts.

The visitors were also given two red cards during the game.

PSG now have a 13-point lead at the top of the table, although that gap could be cut when Marseille travel to Bordeaux on Sunday.
