Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette has now gone an entire year without scoring an away goal in the Premier League. The Frenchman blanked once again today at Turf Moor against Burnley, sealing a very unfortunate record for the former Lyon man.Lacazette's last away goal in the Premier League came on February 9th, 2019, when he found the back of the net in a 2-1 win against Huddersfield.Since then, it's been desperate times for the 28-year-old, who has now failed to score in his last nine appearances for the Gunners. Now, we know it's not EXACTLY a year to the day that Lacazette scored his last away goal, but given Arsenal's next league fixture is at home to Newcastle, he simply cannot end his drought away from London before that February 9th cut off.

Lacazette has actually failed to score an away goal against a current Premier League team for 658 days and counting at the time of writing.

His performance today at Turf Moor was sub-par once again and Mikel Arteta will surely be thinking about condemning him to the bench sooner rather than later.

Lacazette has started every single league game under Arteta so far...

The match itself at Turf Moor was a pretty drab affair, with Arsenal held to a 0-0 draw by Sean Dyche's men.

Mesut Ozil was anonymous once again, with the German now failing to deliver an assist away from home for Arsenal in the Premier League since January 2018.

You really do get the feeling that both Lacazette and Ozil will be offloaded in the summer to make way for the Gunners' exciting crop of youngsters.
