Tottenham stunned Manchester City on Sunday night. It was a classic Jose Mourinho 'smash and grab'. The north London side had three shots and scored two goals, while Pep Guardiola's men failed to convert any of their 14 efforts. Spurs scored first through debutant Steven Bergwijn and it was a goal to remember too. The Dutchman connected with a sweet volley that beat Ederson at his far post after Lucas Moura clipped the ball into his path.It was no doubt a very special moment for Bergwijn and supporters will certainly be impressed with what they saw during his first start.

Sky Sports commentator Marin Tyler also seemed to enjoy the goal too - given how he reacted live on air.

When the ball hit the back of the net, Tyler shouted: "Ohhh, what a debut! Delight for the Dutchman. Stevie Wonder! Stevie Bergwijn! One-nil Tottenham."

Check it out in the clip below:

Brilliant. Although we're not sure whether to laugh or cry, to be honest. It's a bit of a strange reaction.

Tyler's reaction was quickly picked up by plenty of fans on social media, who weren't really sure what to think, either.

"Imagine scoring your first Premier League goal just for the commentator to call you Stevie Wonder," one wrote.

"Please tell me Martin Tyler hasn’t dropped a Stevie Wonder reference there," another said.

The commentary was perhaps summed up best by Grant, who tweeted: "Man said Stevie Wonder. Am I living in a nightmare right now what is life?"

Tyler has been criticised a number of times by fans this season for failing to get excited or not showing enough emotion when an important goal has gone in.

He clearly enjoyed Bergwijn's goal though, but now supporters are suggesting his Stevie Wonder reference was a bit OTT. He can't win, can he?
