Jesse Lingard and Manchester United is a relationship approaching end game.
The Englishman has been hopelessly out of form for over a year now and he went the entirety of 2019 without scoring or assisting in the Premier League.
Lingard did end his goal drought in the FA Cup thrashing of Tranmere just over a week ago, but he was back to his old ways in the Carabao Cup semi-final against Manchester City just days later.
After yet another hopeless performance, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was seen shouting at the Englishman from the touchline, stating that if he gave the ball away one more time he would be taken off.
Minutes later, Lingard duly surrendered possession and he was hauled off by the manager.

Solskjaer is clearly at breaking point with the player and the 27-year-old evidently needs to start a new chapter in his career.
Amazingly, that new chapter could be at one of Europe’s leading clubs.
Both clubs have had success by acquiring English talent of late, with Kieran Trippier thriving in Madrid and Chris Smalling experiencing his very own renaissance over in Rome.
But a player as bereft of confidence as Lingard could certainly buck the trend.
The deal looks most bizarre from the perspective of Atleti, mainly down to Diego Simeone’s preference of utilising a 4-4-2 formation.
Lingard is not creative enough to play as one of the two wide players, does not score enough to operate as a forward and the thought of him as part of a central midfield double-act is laughable.
A move to Roma would be far more logical, given the fact that the Serie A club have taken chances on both Smalling and Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the last 12 months.
