Real Madrid are plotting a £250 million bid for Kylian Mbappe.

Paris Saint-Germain's young star had a very public spat with manager Thomas Tuchel on Saturday night, after being substituted during a 5-0 win.

The pair were involved in an altercation on the touchline. They exchanged words before Mbappe tried to walk off, but he was held back by his boss.

Eventually, the Frenchman took his seat on the bench with a face like thunder. It seems there's trouble in paradise at PSG.

Trouble, that Real Madrid are hoping to cash-in on.

According to reports from Mundo Deportivo, per the Daily Mail, Los Blancos are planning a world-record £250m bid for Mbappe.

The club hope to tempt him away from PSG this summer, after many years of admiring the World Cup winner.

With a clear rift developing between Mbappe and his manager, now seems a good time for Real Madrid to test PSG's resolve.

It's also reported that Tuchel held clear the air talks with the player after their spat and he also moved to play down the incident post-match.

"I'm the coach, someone has to decide who goes off and who comes in. It's me," he said.

"Mbappe is very intelligent, he knows what he is doing. He doesn't like going off."

Tuchel was also asked if he was going to discipline Mbappe but remained coy.

"I don't know, I'll decide. I have to think. I'll make a decision tomorrow," Tuchel said over the weekend.

"I'll decide if I'll talk about that, if I'll talk individually or if I won't talk about it. It depends if I sleep well or not."

It remains to be seen if Mbappe has been punished for his touchline behaviour, but with more reports suggesting Madrid want to make a bid, any more friction could push him closer to the exit door.
