UFC star Colby Covington has called out rapper 50 Cent for a boxing match, offering to put a million dollars on the line, as well as having one arm tied behind his back.

The 31-year-old welterweight most recently suffered a knockout defeat in a title clash against Kamaru Usman at UFC 245 in Las Vegas.

However, Covington seemingly has a different opponent on his mind, after being angered by the rapper's post-fight comments following his defeat.

Covington said, as per The Sun: "I want to do a celebrity boxing match.

I'm going to tie one hand behind my back and I'm going to fight 50 Cent.

"I'm going to put up one million of my dollars."

The former Interim UFC Welterweight Champion added that he would donate his winnings to the troops, but it seems like not everyone is a fan of it.

Darren Till being one of those people, who made the following comment on social media.

This definitely wouldn't be the first time a UFC fighter has jumped across to the boxing ring, with Conor McGregor famously fighting against Floyd Mayweather in August 2017.

It seems that Covington's anger with 50 Cent began when he was mocked by him on Instagram after his defeat to Usman, in which 50 Cent joked about Colby's apparent broken jaw.

50 Cent added the caption: "Well look at the bright side, you won't say the wrong thing or anything. For the next 6 weeks."

Covington is adamant, however, that he never broke his jaw in the loss.

50 Cent also claimed that Covington was racist based on his pre-fight comments about Usman.

He had said: "What has his family ever done for America beside serve in the Federal penitentiary?"

50 Cent already has involvement in the boxing world through promotion work, but it's yet to be seen whether he will accept Covington's challenge, put on the gloves himself and go up against a pro-fighter.
