Paul Pogba has told Manchester United teammates he wants to leave the club this summer.

The Frenchman has started just six matches this season due to ankle injuries, but according to Manchester Evening News, is still determined to leave Old Trafford.

Per their report, Real Madrid and Juventus are interested in making offers.

Dressing room sources have told the newspaper that Pogba's 'head is not currently at the club' and many teammates are in favour of him leaving.

He's still a popular figure amongst the players, but some now believe it's in the club's best interests for him to depart.

Pogba has said on previous occasions that he'll soon be seeking a new challenge and it may not be long before he moves on.

"For me, I have been for three years in Manchester and have been doing great; some good moments and some bad moments, like everybody. Like everywhere else," he said last year.

"I think for me it could be a good time to have a new challenge somewhere else."

Pogba has long been linked with a move away from Man United but given his injury problems this season and the fact he's entering the final 18 months of his contract, they could struggle to sell high.

Last year the Premier League club valued their World Cup winner at £180 million, but it's unlikely they would get near that figure now.

It's still not clear how much longer Pogba will be sidelined for. It's reported he's close to a return, but probably won't be back in time for United's next fixture - a clash with Chelsea for a top-four spot.

Despite his injury problems, Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is still said to be a big admirer and with Pogba telling teammates he wants to go, United could be forced to sell this summer.
