The brand new trailer for 'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare' Season Two dropped today, and unsurprisingly, fans are very excited.
While it is only a teaser trailer which gives away very little in way of what we can expect from Season Two, the confirmation of the return one of the franchise's favourite characters, Ghost, has got fans all in a tizzy.
The return of Lt. Simon Riley heralds a new dawn for the complete reboot of 'Modern Warfare' after his infamous murder at the hands of General Shepherd in the original series left fans reeling.
While there have been some murmurings that Activision and Infinity Ward were planning on reintroducing Ghost, today's trailer wholeheartedly confirms it
The wide assumption is that he will be a playable character after the words 'Ghost Confirmed' are typed out onto a screen before his iconic skull headgear becomes visible in the reflection.

Oh yes, he is definitely back.
It doesn't end there though as the more observant watchers noticed the briefest snippets of a map that looked very similar to an old icon, Rust.
The thought of being able to play as Ghost on Rust once again is possibly one of the most exciting updates for Call of Duty fans in a long time and they will be counting down the days until February 11.
While we don't want you to get too excited just yet as Rust hasn't been officially confirmed, the trailer is definitely suggesting that it might be making a comeback as well.
Either way, it looks like the game's creators are making all the right moves as they prepare to introduce the new season after a chaotic few months.
It would probably be a good idea to go ahead and clear your calendars for the 11th because who can possibly be productive knowing that Ghost is alive and kicking again.
