FIFA Ultimate Team is a certified cash cow for EA Sports.

Every single year, gamers across the world spend real money on packs to try and acquire some of the best players in world football.

More often than not, the packs disappoint, but there are those rare occasions when your investment is rewarded with a Lionel Messi or a Cristiano Ronaldo.

The chances of that are slim, though, unless you're a streamer with thousands of pounds to spend on the game.

ChrisMD has just that and his latest video on YouTube shows him opening £6,614 worth of packs over the Team of the Year promotion.

No wonder players who don't spend real-life cash on the game can't compete with the rest...

VIDEO

In just the second pack of the video, he manages to get Alisson Becker's 97-rated Team of the Year card.

The luck continues shortly after, as Chris packs an 89-rated Kaka, one of the rarest ICON cards on the game.

He doesn't even look happy with the pull in the video...

But the joy quickly returns to his face shortly after when he packs a 98-rated Kylian Mbappe, arguably the best card on the entire game and worth over 5,000,000 coins.

The resulting packs - worth thousands more pounds - deliver 94-rated Frenkie de Jong, 89-rated Michael Ballack, 90-rated Kenny Dalglish, another Alisson, 96-rated Matthijs de Ligt and 94-rated Andrew Robertson.

Roy Keane's 90-rated card, another De Jong and a second Robertson are the last major pulls from the video.

We haven't even mentioned the scores of highly-rated regular cards picked up, which most players of the game would kill for.

ChrisMD genuinely describes De Jong and Robertson as the 'worst ones' from the Team of the Year promotion after packing them for the first time.

If anything sums up the ridiculousness of Ultimate Team in the modern day, it's just that.
