Since launching as a live two-hour show in October 2019, NXT has been arguably the number-one wrestling show in the world.Solid storylines everywhere you look, a collection of world class wrestlers and a stacked women's division - what more could you want? But during that time there was something missing, and that final piece of the puzzle has returned to Full Sail after four months away.On last week's show, a mysterious '05 02 2020' teaser appeared, signifying that something would be happening on the following week's episode.Fans had to wait a while, but things were about to get clearer after Undisputed Era's match against Tommaso Ciampa and the Broserweights in the main event.

Just as it looked like Ciampa was going to put his TakeOver: Portland opponent away, Roderick Strong interfered and caused the match to be ended via disqualification.

UE then dismantled Ciampa and sprayed a yellow X on his back, but before they could do any further damage, the teaser was revealed to be none-other than Velveteen Dream.

To the adulation of Full Sail, Dream appeared on the turnbuckle behind all four men, and managed to fend them all off until it was just himself and Strong in the ring.

Dream tore off his tights to reveal another set, with the family of Strong emblazoned on them and 'Call Me Up Marina' written on the back, in a brilliant throwback to Rick Rude's feud with Jake 'The Snake' Roberts.

If you weren't aware, Dream had been out of action since October due to a 'serious' back injury, and he was written out when Undisputed Era attacked him backstage on October 16.

Dream had lost his NXT North American Championship just weeks before to Strong, and it looks like from what happened last night, that feud may continue a bit longer.

Even though all three brands are supposedly equal now, you get the feeling that Dream will be on the main roster sooner rather than later, so Full Sail better enjoy him whilst they can!
