Manchester City are having to watch Liverpool dismantle their history before their eyes this season.
Pep Guardiola's 'centurions' of 2017/18 looked like the greatest Premier League side of all time, smashing all before them on their way to a title that ought never to have been topped.
However, two years on and the Reds are just six games away from achieving glory in an even more dominant fashion.
Jurgen Klopp's men are expected to seal title number 19 in the Merseyside derby at Goodison Park on March 16.
Only then can they begin to revel in what they've achieved in a season that has shattered expectations.

Ostensibly, Klopp is not concerned with the many milestones his side have already hit, but they do provide a useful measure in the debate over whether his current crop of players have outdone previous title-winners.
Thankfully, Reddit user eddyharts has compiled a list of the remaining records from City's historic season that Liverpool can still break.
There are two which the current league-leaders are unlikely to match:
- Most goals - 106 (Liverpool are currently on 60 and would need an average of over three goals a game to match it)
- Best goal difference - +79 (Liverpool are on +45 and at their current rate are on course for +68)
There are a further 10 which they remain on course for:

Nobody would bet against City doing some serious investing this summer and coming back even better next term, but it really is hard to see how Liverpool's exploits are ever going to be repeated.
Increasingly, it looks as if we're witnessing one of the greatest set of champions of all time.
