Rusev wasn’t seen on Monday Night Raw again this week in WWE, and according to reports, this might continue for the foreseeable future.

Entering 2020, Rusev was involved in one of the most talked-about storylines on Raw between himself, his wife Lana, Bobby Lashley, and Liv Morgan.

However, The Bulgarian Brute was notably absent from this week’s red brand show again, while Lana, Morgan, and Lashley still made appearances.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, via Ringside News, Rusev is being kept off Raw due to contract disputes with WWE.

The three-time United States Champion’s contract with WWE is set to expire at some point soon, although it’s unclear exactly how long is left on his current deal.

Lana signed a new five-year contract with WWE at the back end of 2019, but there was no news on Rusev's status.

Now it looks like WWE is keeping him off TV until he makes a decision on his future with the company.

Meanwhile, as previously mentioned, Lana, Lashley, and Morgan all still appeared on Raw this past week, but there was no advancement in the love triangle (rectangle?) storyline.

Lana and Morgan had a match against each other, which was won by Morgan convincingly before Ruby Riott returned and attacked her former Riott Squad tag team member.

As for Lashley, he was involved in a number one contender triple threat match for the WWE Championship at Super ShowDown with Seth Rollins and the winner of the match, Ricochet.

Rusev hasn’t had a match on Raw since before the Royal Rumble. He competed in a mixed tag team match on January 20 alongside Morgan, losing to Lashley and Lana.

The Bulgarian Brute was scheduled to compete in the Royal Rumble match, but he was pulled from the match during the broadcast, with WWE explaining that he and Lashley couldn’t stop fighting in the parking lot.

It’s unclear as to when we’ll see Rusev on Raw next as if WWE is going to keep him off TV until he signs a new deal, there’s a possibility we may have seen the last of him.
