Emre Can's career has been rocky since leaving Liverpool. The German midfielder decided to leave the Reds in 2018 for Juventus. But, after a mediocre first season in Italy, Can lost his place in the side. After appearing just eight times for the Italians in the 2019/20 season, Can joined Dortmund in January on loan.He made his debut against former club Bayer Levekusen on Saturday.

And he capped his first game for his new club with a ridiculous goal from distance after just over half-an-hour played.

The 26-year-old picked up the ball from 30 yards out, took a couple of touches and then curled an unstoppable effort into the top corner.

From real time it looks special. But wait until you see the replay from behind showing just how much curve he put on the ball...

What a goal. Who knew Can had that in him?!

Dortmund have an obligation to buy Dortmund at the end of his loan spell.

They will most likely be glad they put that clause in the deal after his stunning debut goal.

Jurgen Klopp spoke about Can's move from Juventus to Dortmund in mid-week.

“I am happy for BVB and Emre Can,” Klopp told Bild.“It’s a win-win situation. Emre is just a perfect match for this club.

“BVB got a top lad, a wonderful, versatile footballer with an outstanding attitude.”

Klopp knew Can would be a success and the German manager may have been proved right after just 33 minutes of his debut.
