At a tender age of just 16 years old, Naseem Shah has played an absolute blinder; earning himself a tremendous hat trick in the match between Pakistan and Bangladesh.Sixteen-year-old Shah convincingly dismissed three batsmen in Nazmul Hossain Shanto, Taijul Islam and Mahmudullah in Pakistan and Bangladesh’s first Test in five years.Bangladesh have been looking to put right what was a woeful 2019 and have been desperate to marry the new year with more convincing performances out on the field.Pakistan, however, are looking to firmly establish themselves in 2020, and they'll do so with Shah playing a key part in their bowling attack. An individual performance in the game from young Shah has proved pivotal for Pakistan, thus also making him the youngest ever to take a Test hat trick.

Shah inscribed his name into the history books thanks to three wicked deliveries - first trapping Shanto LBW, then, for a golden duck, trapping Islam, before forcing Mahmudullah to nick behind, completing his remarkable feat.

Needless to say, Twitter exploded and was in total disbelief at the gutsy performance from the relatively inexperienced 16-year-old to help his side continue in their stride in their 2020 campaign.

Born in just 2003, Shah made his international debut for Pakistan in November 2019, thus becoming just the ninth youngest player to make their Test cricket debut.

Now, in February 2020, he becomes the youngest bowler to take a hat trick in a Test match.

It is clear for the world to see that Naseem Shah has a bright future in the sport of cricket and the only way is up for the 16-year-old; with performances such as this against Bangladesh, his stock is only rising, and his talent will only flourish.

So, watch this space and remember the name Naseem Shah for 2020 is going to be massive for the 16-year-old and hopefully a taster of things to come.
