This weekend marked the Premier League's first winter break as they look to tackle the hectic schedule.

Sheffield United face Bournemouth in the only fixture today following the postponement of Manchester City v West Ham.

Those games make up two of only four that took place this weekend after Everton beat Crystal Palace before Brighton shared the points with Watford.

And amidst the debut of the new break, the Daily Mirror have produced a list which shows the top-flight players who have clocked up the most minutes in all competitions this season.

After their participation in the Europa League, it's no surprise that the list of 20 players is dominated by Wolves.

In fact, four of the top five players who have played the most this season come from the Molineux Stadium.

At number five in the list is Raul Jimenez who has totalled 3,019 minutes in all competitions this season, 19 less than team-mate Leander Dendoncker who occupies fourth place.

Wolves midfielder Joao Moutinho took second spot with 3,221 minutes whilst the club's skipper Conor Coady tops the pile with a total of 3,510 minutes.

The Wanderers' captain has played every minute of the Premier League this season and his former club, Liverpool, also see a whole host of players in the list too.

On top of league, domestic and Champions League action, the Reds have also turned their focus towards the Super Cup final and the Club World Cup this term.

In third place is Virgil van Dijk who has accumulated 3,120 minutes and is joined in the list by team-mates Andy Robertson, Mohamed Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Roberto Firmino.
