PSG and Lyon put on a six-goal thriller on Sunday night as Thomas Tuchel's side extended their lead at the top of Ligue 1. The Parisians raced into a 3-0 lead, before Lyon threatened to peg them back with a hard-fought second-half comeback. Angel Di Maria had got proceedings underway, dribbling in from the right and slotting past the 'keeper at the near post. Kylian Mbappe then capitalised on some questionable defending, finding himself in space to double the hosts' lead. No Neymar, no problem (though the Brazilian's absence is hardly newsworthy these days, missing this particular game with a rib problem).

It already looked like PSG were home and dry but Fernando Marçal, fresh from being rinsed by Di Maria for the first goal, made sure of it.

Mbappe went racing down the flanks and set up Julian Draxler, who did well to keep the ball in play.

The German pinged it back into the box and Marçal did the rest.

A striker's finish if ever there was one - what a hit, son!

Martin Terrier and Moussa Dembele did their best to spare his blushes, making it 3-2, but Edinson Cavani later put the game beyond doubt after Mbappe had hit the crossbar.

Marçal won't be living that one down for a while.
