Several superstars of NXT have reaped the rewards of the brand’s recent move to the USA Network according to reports, as they’ve received pay rises.

Back in October last year, NXT was changed from pre-recorded to a live broadcast and was moved from the WWE Network to the USA Network.

While some have argued this was a move to counteract AEW’s programming on TNT on Wednesday nights, it has had a bigger impact on NXT’s superstars more than anything else.

According to Fightful, several NXT superstars received 'substantial' raises back in October when the new television deal with USA Network kicked in.

The money they now make isn't exactly the same as the superstars on Raw or SmackDown, but it’s a significant raise for those that ended up signing them compared to what they were making before.

Fightful also reported that most of the contracts came with new three-year agreements, but not all of the talent signed the new deals they were offered.

It is currently unclear which NXT superstars signed the new deals and which superstars didn’t.

Given the new market, NXT is now tapping into on the USA Network, it’s not surprising to hear that the brand’s superstars have been awarded new contracts to boost their salaries.

Whether or not they’ll be comfortable with signing a new multi-year contract however is a different story, especially with the emergence of AEW as a viable alternative to WWE, not just for fans, but for talent too.

Several superstars across WWE have asked for their release from the company over the past couple of months, including in NXT.

Just this past week, Tayanra Conti walked out of NXT after a disagreement, and her locker had been cleared.

Hopefully, we’ll find out which superstars signed the dotted line back in October over the next few weeks, as this could be an indication of what’s to come on NXT over the next year or so.
