The Premier League has been home to some legendary strikers over the years.

Alan Shearer, Thierry Henry and Sergio Aguero are just a few world-class names who really dominated England's top flight at their peak.

They could score with every part of their body too.

Head, chest, knee, left foot, right foot. You name it and they've probably scored with it.

Most legendary players do have a 'stronger foot' though - the one they prefer to strike a ball with.

But what about those who can finish with their 'weak foot'? Have you ever thought much about that?

Probably not - but it's still very interesting.

Check out the list below, from writer Duncan Alexander, which shows the all-time Premier League top scorers with their weak foot:

9) Nicolas Anelka (Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, Bolton, Chelsea, West Brom) 30 goals

8) Jermain Defoe (West Ham, Tottenham, Portsmouth, Sunderland, Bournemouth) 30 goals

7) Robbie Fowler (Liverpool, Leeds, Manchester City, Blackburn) 30 goals

6) Romelu Lukaku (Chelsea, West Brom, Everton, Manchester United) 31 goals

5) Harry Kane (Tottenham, Norwich) 31 goals

4) Andy Cole (Newcastle, Manchester United, Blackburn, Fulham, Manchester City, Portsmouth, Sunderland) 31 goals

3) Thierry Henry (Arsenal) 31 goals

2) Sergio Aguero (Manchester City) 34 goals

1) Robin van Persie (Arsenal, Manchester United) 39 goals

There are some legendary names on that list. Right now, it's Van Persie who holds the rather niche honour of being the Premier League's all-time highest scorer with his weak peg.

But it's not out of the question to suggest that either Aguero or Kane will overtake him before their careers in England's top-flight finish.

It's interesting to see that Shearer - the league's all-time top scorer with 260 goals - does not feature on the list.

Neither does Wayne Rooney, the Premier League's second-highest goalscorer.

But as they both scored over 200 top-flight goals each, we'll forgive them for not being clinical with their weak foot. Let's be honest, neither Rooney nor Shearer really needed one!
