Juventus are planning to give Pep Guardiola 'whatever it takes' to convince him to leave Manchester City this summer.

The Serie A champions are desperate to appoint a new manager, despite only hiring Maurizio Sarri eight months ago.

According to The Sun, club president Andrea Agnelli is convinced Guardiola is the man to finally deliver the Bianconeri their first Champions League triumph since 1996.

Because of that, he will allow the City manager to name his terms with 'money no object' regarding both his wages and potential transfer budget.

"Andrea has never hidden his interest in Guardiola," one Juventus source told The Sun.

"Andrea thinks Guardiola will want to come to Italy when it is time to leave England. The question is whether this is the time but he will do everything he can to make it possible."

Earlier this week reports suggesting Sarri's future was hanging in the balance began to surface.

The ex-Chelsea boss made a decent start to life in Turin, but club chiefs now fear he could blow a record ninth in a row Serie A title win.

It's so close at the top of the table, with Inter Milan and Juventus level on 54 points from 23 games.

Lazio are just one point behind them in third and it's turning out to be one of the closest Italian title races in recent memory.

Then, of course, there are the rumours that Cristiano Ronaldo and Sarri have been clashing throughout the season.

That certainly comes as an unwanted distraction, given how desperate the club is to end their wait for Champions League glory.

Guardiola may remain coy on leaving Man City for now, but with Juventus prepared to go all out to tempt him to Italy, it certainly wouldn't be a shock to see him leave the Etihad after four seasons.
