Jadon Sancho wants to return to the Premier League with Man Utd

Jadon Sancho looks to be on his way to Man Utd in the summer

Jadon Sancho is set to leave Borussia Dortmund in the summer.

The English teenager has quickly grown into one of the world's finest players over in Germany and his desire to leave will spark a humungous bidding war across Europe.

Manchester United are currently the favourites to sign the 19-year-old, with Chelsea's move for Hakim Ziyech handing the Red Devils a significant advantage.

And the Mirror have revealed that Sancho has decided he wants to return to the Premier League and sign for United.

The Red Devils are prepared to make him the new poster boy of the club and will also pay him around £200,000-a-week.

United have already made significant inroads and believe the deal will be concluded, even if they do fail to qualify for the Champions League.

It would certainly be a marquee signing for United and the prospect of Sancho, Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes is mouthwatering on paper.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side will also be handed another boost in their pursuit by Sancho's former club, Manchester City.

As reported by the Evening Standard, City failed to add an 'anti-Man Utd clause' when they sold Sancho to Borussia Dortmund.

Sancho celebrates a goal

Pep Guardiola's side inserted that very clause into the deal that saw Brahim Diaz join Real Madrid, but not for Sancho - a decision that could prove to be disastrous come the summer transfer window.

But with Leroy Sane all but certain to join Bayern Munich come the end of the season, City themselves may enter the race for their former youth star.

They certainly have the financial resources to meet Sancho's £100m valuation and preventing their city rivals from signing the English star would be an extra incentive.

However, would Sancho want to return to the club that failed to give him the chance he deserved? Perhaps not.
