WWE news: The Bella Twins will reportedly be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year

Nikki and Brie Bella are set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame

The Class of 2020 for the WWE Hall of Fame is already off to a solid start, with both Batista and the collective foursome of the nWo announced as headliners in December 2019.

With details surrounding the rest of the class normally dropping week-by-week after the Royal Rumble match, it's perhaps surprising that there's been no official news of any other inductees as of now.

But the reliable WrestleVotes have indicated that news may be on the way shortly.

They have reported today on Twitter that they have heard two definitive that are supposedly going to be inducted into the Hall of Fame in Tampa just a couple of nights before WrestleMania 36.

The first is Japanese legend Jushin Thunder Liger, who retired last month after a 35-year wrestling career.

Liger only ever wrestled twice in WWE - in the years 1990 and 2015 - but was also a part of WCW in the 1990s and is presumably being inducted due to his worldwide success.

But two more names who were ever present in WWE up until a couple of years ago will also apparently be going into the Hall of Fame.

The Bella Twins - who retired in 2019 - are set to go into the WWE Hall Of Fame

The Bella Twins will reportedly be inducted this year, just one year after they both announced their retirements from professional wrestling within two weeks of each other on their reality show Total Bellas.

The sisters returned for a two-month stint in 2018, where Nikki ended up facing Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women's Championship at WWE Evolution.

That would be Nikki's last match in her career - Brie's coming in a six-woman tag match on Raw just a few weeks prior - and both women announced their pregnancies on January 29.

Nikki and Brie Bella are set to be inducted into the Hall of Fame

Whilst many would say that Nikki and Brie were never the greatest in-ring technicians, they showed great desire to improve, and especially Nikki in the final few years of her career became a solid worker and didn't mind putting other stars over.

They only shared three Divas Championship reigns between them, however the Bella Twins' strong social media presence and their appearances on reality television made them household names and two of the most known WWE superstars of the 2010's.

It would be a ludicrous statement to say that The Bellas don't deserve their impending place in the Hall of Fame - and now we wait for official confirmation!
