Chelsea have confirmed the signing of Hakim Ziyech from Ajax for a fee of €45m
The Moroccan playmaker will spend the rest of the season with Ajax before officially joining up with the rest of the Blues squad in the summer.
Ziyech becomes Frank Lampard's first signing as manager and it's a deal that will leave the rest of Europe green with envy.
The 26-year-old is renowned as one of the best attacking midfielders in world football, scoring and assisting for fun with Ajax during the past two seasons.
In 2018/19, Ziyech scored 21 times and assisted his teammates on 24 occasions in the space of just 49 games across all competitions.

This season has been no different for the former FC Twente star, with Ziyech scoring eight times and notching 21 assists in 29 matches.
Tammy Abraham is the only current Chelsea player to have scored more times than the Moroccan in 2019/20 (15), while no Blues player has registered more than six assists in all competitions.
Ziyech will bring much-needed balance and flair to a midfield which currently lacks a creative spark.
The Dutch-born midfielder began his professional career in 2012 with Heerenveen, before moving to FC Twente in 2014.
After successfully captaining the team during the 2015/16 season - and recording 29 goal contributions (17G, 12A) in 34 games - Ajax opted to bring the Moroccan to Amsterdam for a fee of around €11m.
That investment has paid dividends, with Ziyech now the third most expensive sale made by the club, behind Frenkie de Jong and Matthijs de Ligt.
All the signs point to Ziyech being one of the signings of the summer, but you just never know how a player will adapt to the demands of the Premier League.News Now - Sport News
