WWE could have a big match planned between The Undertaker and AJ Styles at this year’s WrestleMania 36.

AJ Styles has been on the shelf for WWE over the past couple of weeks, as he picked up a shoulder injury during the Royal Rumble match.

However, it looks like The Phenomenal One will be returning to the squared circle soon, as he’s been booked for the Tuwaiq Trophy Gauntlet match for Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia on February 27.

Styles is one of six men in the match alongside Andrade, Bobby Lashley, R-Truth, Rusev and Erick Rowan. Yet, an even bigger match could be on the horizon for him at this year’s WrestleMania.

According to Wrestle Zone, Styles vs The Undertaker is currently being planned for WrestleMania 36 on April 5 in Tampa.

This would be an epic match and one WWE fans would love to see for both The Phenomenal One and The Deadman. The two have never faced each other in the ring before.

Since the two have had contrasting career paths in wrestling, it will be interesting to see how WWE ties the two together in order to book them in a match at this year’s Showcase of Immortals.

The Undertaker hasn’t competed for WWE since 2019’s Extreme Rules where he teamed up with Roman Reigns against Drew McIntyre and Shane McMahon.

His last appearance on WWE TV was on September 10’s episode of SmackDown last year where he ended up chokeslamming Sami Zayn for interrupting his promo.

If The Phenom faces Styles at this year’s WrestleMania, it will be his first match at the Showcase of Immortals since he faced John Cena at WrestleMania 34 back in 2018.

So far, only one match has been confirmed for WrestleMania 36; a WWE Championship match between Brock Lesnar and the women’s Royal Rumble winner Drew McIntyre.

As for the women’s Royal Rumble winner Charlotte Flair, she is yet to reveal who she will challenge at this year’s Showcase of Immortals with her title opportunity.
