It is really not a secret that Floyd 'Money' Mayweather is a wealthy man.You don't get the nickname 'Money' if you're not absolutely rolling in dough and not shy to flex your financial muscles.Mayweather loves to show off his affluence and his social media accounts are basically a narcissistic tribute to his ever-burgeoning bank accounts. He is reported to walk around with no less than $1 million in cash in a rucksack wherever he goes, and will only ever wear a pair of shoes once. So, on the surface, it would seem that Mayweather has heaps of cash to spend and, is very good at spending it.

It should come as a surprise then that famed rapper 50 Cent has claimed that Mayweather's money mountains are starting to shrink and, in fact, look more like money meadows now.

Speaking on whether or not Mayweather should step back into the ring, Curtis Jackson (50 Cent) was adamant that his former friend has no choice.

“I think he got to right now because the money’s gone,” Jackson says.

“It’s fight, get the money, spend the money, fight.”

“With the lifestyle that money’s gone. Trust me. Now it’s like if you call him he’ll be at your local nightclub because he needs that action right now,” Jackson concludes.

After a quite unbelievable career that saw him rack up a record of 50-0, Mayweather has been enjoying his retirement and, having taken part in some of the highest-grossing fights in the history of combat sports, many thought that Mayweather would be living his best for years to come.

However, if Jackson is to be believed, Mayweather may have to step into the ring yet again if he wants to keep up with his unreal lifestyle.

It could explain why Mayweather has been making ever more noise over the last few weeks with regard to a rematch with Conor McGregor.

If it's true, 'Money' Mayweather may be forced into a rather embarrassing rebrand.
