Ranker, alongside its readers, have developed the ultimate list of the best WWE stars of the ‘90s.

For today, we are going to have a look at the top 50 ranked on February 15, 2020.

The '90s had big shoes to fill following the '80s dominate decade of WWE, which is commonly known to as the “golden era” of wrestling.

The '90s, however, was known as the “Attitude Era”, but it would have been nothing without the wrestlers involved which made it so great.

The likes of Matt Hardy, Edge, Chris Jericho and Jeff Hardy all earning a spot between 50 and 31, although plenty will feel that they could be pushed even higher in the ranks, however, maybe would argue their best work came in the '00s and beyond.

A crop of superstars that were unbelievably talented both in the ring and on the microphone, and a real mix of top-class heels and also top-class faces.

They really did have fruitful '90s, but not as much as the next 10!

10-1 Summary

The top 10 of the entire '90s! What a list of WWE superstars right there.

It's impossibly tough to separate some of the names, but the fact that the great Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson misses out on a top five spot is truly remarkable.

HBK and The Undertaker also outside the top three may surprise people, but few could argue about Bret Hart taking home the number one spot.

One thing is for sure, and you can tell just by looking at this list, WWE/WWF was at its very best during the 1990s.
