Jamie Chadwick, the current W Series Champion, celebrated achieving her first F3 Asian Championship podium this weekend by repeating the feat again a day later.

She finished in third place in two of the weekend's races. This means that Chadwick, who is also a Williams development driver, is now eighth in the championship standings.

Her first podium finish came on Friday when she started on the grid in fifth, passing Ukyo Sasahara early in the race to move into fourth.

She then fought against Nikita Mazepin, finally managing to overtake, moving into third place and holding on until the end of the race.

Her second podium finish was somewhat a reverse of Friday – Chadwick was in the second position after passing the championship leader Joey Alders. Then Mazepin overtook her, leaving Chadwick to finish in third again.

After the race, GPFans report she said: “I’m a bit frustrated. Yesterday I was happy to be on the podium, today I’m a little bit frustrated to miss out on P2."

"It’s a bit frustrating to lose out to Nikita when I passed Joey as I think we had a good pace to be comfortably in P2. You win some, you lose some, and I’m happy to be on the podium again.”

This is a sentiment Chadwick shared on Twitter, writing: "Two podiums and lots of positives to take away from this weekend 🙌🏻 Next up ➡️ Buriram 🇹🇭 next weekend for the final race 💪🏻"

The series comes to an end in Buriram next weekend. Jack Doohan, a Red Bull junior driver, won all three of the weekend's races.
