Triple H joked about there being ‘smoke issues’ on his plane following The BroserWeights win at NXT TakeOver: Portland.
Matt Riddle and Pete Dunne of The BroserWeights tried everything they could over the past week in order to travel to Portland for last night’s NXT TakeOver: Portland show.
After trying various different methods to travel, Riddle and Dunne ended up sneaking onto the back of Triple H’s plane in order to get to Portland in time for their NXT Tag Team Championship match vs The Undisputed Era’s Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly.
The BroserWeights managed to defeat The Undisputed Era at TakeOver: Portland to capture the NXT Tag Team Championship.
Speaking to Cathy Kelley after Riddle’s and Dunne’s title victory, Triple H joked that his pilot told him that there was a ‘smoke issue’ at the back of his plane as they travelled to Portland.

He said, via Fightful: "I had the weirdest thing. My plane smelled terrible on my way to Portland. Smoke issues in the back. That's what the pilot said.”
Jokes aside, The Game also praised The BroserWeights for their match against The Undisputed Era at TakeOver: Portland.
He said: “Those guys put on an unbelievable performance which actually leaves you questioning, 'How much fish could Bobby Fish fry if Bobby Fish could fry fish?' I think the world is going to keep asking that. Amazing tag match.”
Triple H also added how rare it is to see team chemistry from a new team like we have seen from The BroserWeights.
He said: "The funny thing is that every so often, people talk about tag teams that have been together for years, their chemistry. But sometimes you put two guys together and then there's this instant chemistry.
“Pete Dunne and Matt Riddle got together and then there was this instant chemistry and suddenly, they have been like they've been tagging together [for years]. I'm not even talking about, 'Oh, they just do some nifty moves.'
“I'm talking about, 'Man, it’s almost as if they know what the other is going to do before they do it,' type of chemistry, which is very rare. Those are rare moments when teams come along and pass a team like Bobby and Kyle which was incredible.”
Following their win last night, it’s clear WWE and NXT are fully behind The BroserWeights and their antics.News Now - Sport News
