Netflix has released an exciting new trailer for the second season of 'Drive to Survive'.

The 10-part docuseries will be available to stream from February 28 and follow the most recent F1 season.

In 2019, Netflix released series one, which followed the 2018 season, and they are hoping to build on its success with the new series.

Last year's series was top-rated in the UK with 9.1% of Netflix subscribers watching some part.

The series has an exclusive fly-on-the-wall approach which helps detail the inner workings of the sport.

"Many people come up to me at races / in the streets and say that they weren't F1 fans, but they are now...because of the series," said F1's Matt Roberts on a Q&A via Reddit.

"We understood that doing something like this that elevates new heroes in the sport has raised interest in the casual F1 fans.

"Our fastest-growing audience has been the under 35s the past two years (helped by esports and Netflix)."

Series two will follow the same format as its predecessor with behind the scenes exclusives from teams, drivers and owners.

One key difference between the two is that Ferrari and Mercedes have both joined the other teams in taking part this time around. This means that every team will now be featured.

In terms of production, the series is in safe hands with the same people who worked on 'Senna', 'Amy' and 'Diego Maradona' taking the driver's seat in this one.

If those films are anything to go by, it will be a gripping watch.

The trailer - which was released today - is available on YouTube and has already amassed 350,000 views.

If you are interested in the new series, then be sure to take a look as it certainly doesn't disappoint.
