Top Rank CEO Bob Arum has revealed his opinions on WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder, and they're not particularly favourable.

Wilder, 34, faces Tyson Fury, 31, in their highly anticipated rematch on Saturday, with both men promising knockout victories after a controversial draw in their last meeting.

In their first fight in Los Angeles, the majority of fans and pundits believed that the Gypsy King had won the fight, despite being dropped twice, with an inspiring performance all-round.

The promoter Bob Arum has revealed that he believes that the only way that the Bronze Bomber can beat the unbeaten Mancunian is by knocking him out cold.

Out of Wilder's 42 wins, 41 have come from knockouts, with the draw against Fury in their last fight the only blemish on his otherwise impressive record.

Speaking to BT Sport, as per The Sun, Arum scathingly remarked: "Wilder is a one-trick pony. He is not a very good boxer, as a matter of fact, is an atrocious boxer.

"But he has that one weapon and that is this massive right hand which to me looks like the hardest-hitting right hand that I've seen - certainly since George Foreman."

The 88-year-old has also suggested that Wilder will suffer his first defeat of his professional career to Fury, claiming that the American will not even make it to the eighth round.

"On February 22 I'm going to make a prediction, because I've watched Tyson Fury train in my gym in Las Vegas and I think there's not going to be a decision this time.

"I think Fury is going to knock out Wilder before the eighth round."

Fury himself has revealed that he has been dreaming of knocking Wilder out in the second round, believing that he will be able to end the contest early this time.

The former unified champ has also been backed by fellow Brit Anthony Joshua and the legendary Wladimir Klitschko.

However, Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn has predicted that Wilder will win by knockout, after he insisted that he has heard that Fury has been having issues in his training camp.

Only time will tell which promoter is correct, but it's almost certain that whatever the result, this rematch will be an extremely exciting watch.
