Erling Haaland’s pace for Borussia Dortmund v Paris Saint-Germain was frightening

Erling Haaland has enjoyed a remarkable start to his Borussia Dortmund career following his January move from Red Bull Salzburg.

Prior to Tuesday’s Champions League clash between Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain at the Westfalenstadion, the Norway international had scored nine goals in his first six appearances for the German outfit.

He marked his first appearance with a stunning hat-trick inside 23 minutes, before scoring two more goals in his second game.

The 19-year-old, who was strongly linked with a move to Manchester United before choosing Dortmund, appears to have all the tools required to become one of the world’s best strikers.

He’s powerful, direct and can finish with either foot. He has ice in his veins.

Haaland is also fast, despite the fact he’s 6ft 4in tall and powerfully built.

But football fans perhaps didn’t know quite how fast he was until the PSG game.

There was one moment in the first half where Haaland turned on the afterburners and sprinted from one end of the pitch to other in about 10 seconds flat.

Watch it here…

Unbelievable pace.

Usain Bolt would have been proud of that dash.

Here’s some of the best reaction to Haaland’s incredible pace on social media…

Dortmund have got themselves an absolute superstar in Haaland.

However, the £63 million release clause in his contract must be a real cause for concern already.
